This is a 3-day foursomes tournament, organised alternately by Western Province and Boland.

Clubs may enter more enter more than one team although not all teams are guaranteed a place in the field, due to size limitations.
Championship A Division : Combined handicaps may not exceed 24
Handicap B Division 13 – 18 : Only one team from a club may have a player of handicap 19 but she must play off a 18 handicap.
Stableford C Division 19 – 35 : Half the combined handicap shall not exceed 27.
Stableford D Division 19 – 35 : Half the combined handicap in excess of 27 but not exceeding 34.
